Name that tube! Is this right?

Need some help. Been Googling until I am blue in the face. No luck. So I ask my fellow 4runnerers for some help.

Just had some work done on my truck and was doing a post-work inspection. I saw this tube and was wondering if this is correct. Is this a drain or is it something that needs something attached? It is on the driver side firewall.

You da man...thanks! I figured it was some kind of drain and saw some discussion on a/c drain but could not find a picture.
