My 4Runner is going under the knife today...

I dropped her off this morning to get her diff's re-geared with Nitro 4.56 gears. I purchased all of the gears, bearings, seals, shims, and other assorted misc parts myself. I'm having Six States in Orem, UT do the install work. I considered doing the re-gear myself but given how I always seem to run in to issues with these types of projects I decided to let the professionals do the work. My truck should be ready for pickup tomorrow.

I figure after the re-gear I should totally be able to dust a 1979 Pinto in the quarter mile.

My horrible experience with Andy Taylor at Blue Pit!!!

Bought and installed the Blue Pit wheel bearing assembly recently. My tire started wobbling after two weeks of installation!!! I have to go to mechanic garage to get it replaced again for safe driving. I sent the assembly back for refund. Andy Tayler (Blue Pit) just would not refund the money back, instead, he just want to send a replacement to me. There was no way for me to wait his replacement for another week. Besides, I have not confidence in his quality. God knows where he got this cheap Chinese shit. I do not want to take any risk for my safe driving with his dangerous bearing assembly!!!

Hey great thread! Which OME springs did you go with? I'm assuming 887 for the front given that you have a ARB bumper and winch, but did you go with 889, 898, or 899 for the rear? I've got the 887 for the front and 898 for the rear (440lb constant load) but haven't installed them yet, just wondering which ones you went with and how you like them so far. Thanks!
