how did you get those names and addresses in there, are those stored in the unit or put over from your cell phone. I am really hoping that my treo 650 phone will be able to do that as well!

dont you think with that "AM/SAT" button that you could have sat installed and ran through the unit?
 
do you have the rear DVD entertainment system or know anything about it? i am trying to decide whether to get as well. in alot of SUVs they are very bulky and hang down and block alot of the view to the rear window and kill headspace, is it that way in the T4R?
 
yeah, the AM-SAT button will control the satellite receiver module, but it's yet to be announced XM, Sirius, or both. I'm told 3 weeks. Not holding my breath.

Good luck with the Treo... Mine ( with Verizon and Goodlink) locked up and rebooted several times a day. I run my business from the phone and can't have that happening. Sometimes took 5 attempts for my office mgr to call me when I had a full signal. I have had a blackberry for 4 years and switched to the Treo 650 about 3 months ago. Returned it last month and went back to the blackberry, albeit this time a blackberry with bluetooth. I had to enter those address book manually, but there is a transfer feature (requires blueooth OBEX, which the treo has but not the bb). Oh well. CallerID still passes through, and I can answer and dial from the Nav system.

Saw this thread and your your comment above. I just got my 2006 with NAV and Rear Seat Entertainment System. Very cool combo. I will be posting pics of the truck tomorrow in the gallery and will include the NAV and RSE. If you got any specific questions about the RSE let me know.

Oh...no it is not a huge box hanging below the ceiling. Once cool thing is the video on the DVD system will play on the NAV screen when parked!
 
You lose the rear seat audio with the Nav system, but not sure about the rear entertainment system. I know there is an OEM (maybe not OEM, but they sell it at my dealership) rear DVD system that fits in the back of the headrest.

Sorry pics will have to wait until tomorrow. Too dark to get good pics (and late). Anyway the RSE is a combination DVD player & 9" Widescreen LCD montior. It is about 11" square and about 2" below the ceiling. The DVD player also plays MP3, audio CD's, and DTS-CD's. But not WMA's. The player can be controlled by the NAV unit or by remote control. You can also lockout the remote control so kids cannot push buttons. For MP3 discs, the folder and song info is displayed on NAV screen as well. As I stated before, DVD-video played in the DVD player will show on the NAV screen when parked. RSE system also comes with 2 wireless headphones, which allows the kids to listen to the DVD while mom & dad listen to something else on the vehicle's speakers. Auxiliary A/V inputs are included just above the AUX in for a MP3 player in the console.

Im still learning the NAV/RSE system. There is about 250 pages in the manuals for these.
