Has anyone else had problems with their navigation going off road, like it loses gps signal and its starts going crazy. Those anyone know what the problem could be?

There's a TSB for the original factory navigation disc from 2006. If you have the original factory disc in a 2006 4Runner, it needs to be replaced. The TSB is EL012-06, discussed in this thread.
If you have purchased an updated disc, this TSB doesn't apply, as the correction was made on the 2007+ discs.
