Navigation and AUX output

Hi, I just ran across this site and have found it very informative. I have one quick question though that I hope someone can answer. I have an '05 Limited 4x4 with the single disc navigation option and I am wondering if it has an aux output (or input if that is how you refer to it). I bought a Harmon Kardon Drive + Play and the guy at Bestbuy never told me that it is wireless and I don't know if it will plug directly into my navigation unit. Does anyone know if it will without an expensive adapter. I am considering a Peripheral Audio iPod2Car which I believe will plug into the six disc plug on the back of the unit but I have already puchased the Drive + Play and would rather keep it if it will work but I don't know if it will. I don't want to use the FM option )wireless or wired). If anyone knows anything about this I would really appreciate some advice. Thanks a lot.

Also: is it hard to install either of these ipod adapters with the navigation unit? has anyone done it?

I recommend the Wired FM Transmitter even if you don't want it. It's a simple install, and can easily be reverted to stock form if iyou ever want to remove the Drive+Play. Furthermore, it essentially gives you an 'aux' input that you can plug other devices into as well (laptop, or non ipod mp3 players...)

I'm not certain of the quality of sending any signal through the FM receiver, but having it hardwired will be noticably better than the wireless one.


That's your best bet if youre stickin' with the drive+play.
