Need ABS Control Module 2003 4Runner

Hello,

My mechanic told me that I need a new ABS Module on my 2003 4Runner. I have a V-6 Limited.

Does anyone know where I can get the part which will fit my vehicle? Toyota wants over $2000, and the used parts I find are $700-$900. I really need to find the part much cheaper.

The unit is integrated with the ABS solenoid pack which is built into the hydraulic master cylinder unit. So the reality is that while you just need the module; it only comes as an entire assembly.

search on ebay...it goes for 350 to $ 450....i bought mine a lil under $300 from a forum member..and its working great........

I have a full 2003 assembly that I will sell to forum members for $400 shipped. 86,420 miles on it and perfect condition. I never saw a 2003-2004 that cheap for a quality used part, 2005+ I have but they are more common.

I am also told I need a new ABS module. I have a 2003 4runner V6 Limited Automatic 4wd.

Is this part available on eBay for $1,000 compatible vs. The OEM new for $3,300? I am prepping for some off roading and I don't want to be a chump stuck in the mud!

Then part number matches what Toyota provided by phone, but this ad says it's for V8. Ugh.

Can someone please confirm that this would be the correct part for my 2003 4Runner. Im a rather unintelligent human to begin with, and at an even larger disadvantage when in comes to matters of the vehicular sort. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

That's the one. Has to be 2003 or 2004 gx470. V8 or v6 doesn't matter

If it's just your pump that's bad, it is compatible with 99-04 Lexus gs300 or 400. They are easier to find in salvage yards

Good Day,

I have 2004 4Runner SR5 and is curretly leaking bleak fluid (according to a local brake shop they diagnosed that is from the black ABS computer module) and claimed to have done this job have anyone changed the ABS computer by it self from this unit.

Any suggestions??
