Need advise on towing Camper and Rhino

Hey everybody. I currently have a 1997 3.4l 3rd gen. I just bought a 1999 bantum trail lite 17 feet long Bd weighs about 2600 pounds. I have a 5x9 lightweight utility trailer With a yamaha rhino I would like to pull behind it. That setup would be about 1600 pounds totaling 4200 pounds not including gas or camping gear.

I would need a sway bar for sure. I see people pulling double all the time. I would mainly use it for flat towing too am campsites. In trying to avoid buying a truck. Would this work as I'm still under the 5000 limit or would I have to upgrade to the v8?

Although the v8 has the power I'm still not certain even with a hitch put on the camper that the 17 foot camper is big enough to have 1600 pounds towed behind it. Any suggestions in making this work with the 3rd gen?

I don't like the thought of what that will do to your rear end of the 4Runner - since the Rhino trailer will be pushing down on the camper, and the camper's hitch will be pulling up on your ball (especially if things aren't balanced correctly). This could lift or make really light your rear end and make you more prone to wipe out.

I wouldn't do it. 4runners have way too short of a wheelbase for that type of towing. I would check your local laws for towing. If you do it......please make sure both trailers have working brakes.
