Need end Links for New Lift & Sway Bars

No..
Grommets come with the end link.

The ProForge End Link came with 'rubber' grommets.

I can't ever leave anything alone, and got the Energy Suspension 9.8106G grommets.

Reviving this thread..thanks for the info! Read through the whole thing and settled on the Moog K80380 2nd gen links with the Energy 9.8106G grommets. Can't wait to get them in and installed.

There’s a well respected forum member that sells awesome custom ones. MStudt is his username. Even sells double disconnects if you actually wheel and need to disconnect the sway bar.

Thank you for the mention!

If anyone needs some more information on my link please feel free to ask.

In regards to the disco's, I do offer a sliding style disco rather than a true disco. With the front suspension design you can't truly disconnect the front, and clear the coilovers. Do this will cause damage to your CV's.

I just installed Proforged end links (LEFT) and took out my old Moogs (RIGHT). The Proforged looks well constructed and I hope they do not rust like the Moogs do. I also picked up the Energy Suspension bushings that someone previously recommended. Side by side comparison picture attached.

By the way, if anyone local to me (check my profile) wants my used set of Moogs for free, PM me. I think they worked fine, the length was correct for a 2" lift. They just develop surface rust almost instantly. I didn't know this prior to installing them. You would probably want to sand them down and paint them.

Has anyone else considered shortening the front links or do people just junk the front sway bar? I kinda want to keep mine on the mall crawler for those impromptu tail of the dragon runs lol.

Why would you shorten them...wouldn't that just preload the bar even more?

Super old thread. But basically a sway bar working as a lever is most effective when the ends are parallel to the ground and perpendicular to the force being exerted on them by the moving end in this case the upright. So when lifting a 4runner you would have to shorten the front links to get the ends back to perpendicular to the link. This is the same concept that goes for lengthening the rear sway bar links. I never understood and still don't understand why you'd lengthen the front sway bar links when lifting a 4th gen other than to keep the end link out of the way of hitting the bottom of the coil bucket. I ended up sticking with stock links with a sway bar relocation bracket and left it as is even though the sway bar ends were not parallel to the ground.

I added the relocation to my sway bar bushing location as well and it took the preload off the bar - shortening them would have increased the preload I think. I also have adjustable up front, but the shortest (still slightly longer) was just about right.

So do most people just use the relocate kit rather than changing length for the front if doing a ~2inch lift up front? I've found plenty of info on the rear links, but I'm hung up on what to do with the front, I just ordered a full Dobinson kit with the 300 series springs up front. My front links are shot anyways, so I'm going to replace, but I can't find a good consensus on what to put up there? Stock length?

I'm in basically the same boat as you, were you able to find anything?

That's what I did. Just installed full OME 3/2 lift (details in signature) and used the relocation blocks in the front and 2nd gen MOOG links in the rear. I only had one issue - the relocation blocks made my front sway bar contact the skid plate just barelyyy (enough to make a noise for me to investigate). I used a couple washers between the skid plate and where it mounts to move it down slightly and it no longer rubs up against the sway bar.
