Need "Friends of the NRA" Dinner input

Never been to a Friends of NRA event before, been a member of NRA for years and years. So what can I expect, not a deep pockets person, I know fundraising is their main goal. Will I be out of place by not pulling out my checkbook, or can I blend in by participating in the raffles and such?

I mostly give to the ILA, I find these kind of events cheesy.
