Need front mud flaps that works with my running boards

I always thought this was a smart way to go:

The mud flaps are 1989-1995 pickup mudflaps cut down to size.

I know it says universal but is this a close fit? How easy is the install?
Also is it flush with the wheel wells?

It is just a sheet of plastic basically. I have the large version. It needs to be trimmed still.

Did you have to do extra drillings or are there holes in my 4runner already there for this stuff

Those are new holes. I don't think you will be able to find a mud flap that will work with factory holes and the running boards.

I bought this:
(Dee Zee Mud Flaps - Front) #7924-03131482 Black Composite Rubber Universal; 11 in. x 15 in. at PartsGeek.com

They are installed but had to drill. It's ok though and actually looks good.
