Need help about hitch and receivers. soon as possible please.

ok guys sorry I'm a newbie to this. so I'm ordering a hitch step from carid.com. the problem is i don't know really what is a receiver. i have a 2014 4runner limited. I'm about to order a 3" hitch step. so the problem comes when i click on it. it gives me two options. one is for 1 1/4" receivers. second is for 2' receivers. I'm confused here guys what the hell does this mean. again i have a 2014 4runner limited. probably u guys can find out. i measured it it was kinda 3" square hole lol. total nooby. help out please.

Look at this:
Trailer Hitches, Front Mount, Weight Distribution, Pintle/Lunette Hitches, Fifth Wheel, Gooseneck, Adapters
Your receiver is probably 2" but you can measure and confirm.
