I would agree with that. When you've spent time with your own vehicle, you know the in's and out's of it. Also keep in mind that there is no substitute for a truck when you need one. But, in the end, if you want it and like it, go for it. Seems like a pretty fair trade on paper.

Count me in with the people saying the chip is worthless.

Sir I have to say when you customize a rig you don't half a$$ anything. Every single one of your rigs are just amazingly sick. The Tundra, your old 4runner, your new 4runner, and yes even the Prius. And that's saying something, cause, I just cant stand those ugly little zippy things. But first glance at yours and I didn't even recognize that it was a Prius. I didn't know you could do that to one of those. And If I may say, it looked very attractive.

Speaking of lifted vehicles in Germany, did German laws require you to do anything to, or remove anything, from the new Runner. I know you had to do something with the fender flares on the tundra and UN-tint some of the windows. Or something like that.

Well, that's why I had to use the Method Standard Wheels. They are the perfect off set to keep the tread of the 35's within or perfectly lined up with the fenders. I don't rub anywhere except for at full lock on the upper control arm, so I still might put some 1" bolt on spacer on anyway, regardless of the german law.

Thanks.. if your referring to the 2000 silver. If your not talking about the silver 2000 and your referring to cmlesschwab 4runner, then I would have to agree with you there, that is one clean, mean looking machine. :rockon:

Finally got the 4runner this morning. After about three weeks of waiting for the guy to get the title, we finally did the trade and I'm the proud owner of a beautiful 2000 silver 4runner, 3.4V6 4x4 auto, with factory locker. LOVIN IT!!! Need to replace a front pass. cv but hey it comes with the territory.

Again thank you all for your feedback and suggestions. I carefully considered all possibilities, and weighed the pros and cons. And after going through the rig pretty well and with only a few minor repairs, I decided to make the deal. I will eventually post some of my own pics and possibly start a build thread of my own. Although most of the big work is done, lift, body lift, re-geared dif, dif drop, deck plate mod and ISR (not that big of a deal), sound system, window tint, HIDs, fender flares etc. etc.

I guess really the only thing I get to do is get me some front and rear armor, only cause I love the look of those massive ARB bumpers.

If you guys have any suggestions on any other mods that I should do or mods that you have done that you like and I can steal your ideas. Feedback would be much appreciated.
