I recently took the 4Runner out to Barstow last weekend and I kinda beat the piss out of it on the trails. When I got back, i noticed two new noises. One is a high pitched whine when i steer and I'm pretty sure its the power steering pump going bad but another noise i'm not too sure about is a lower toned, creaking noise when i turn coupled with slight vibrations you can feel through the truck. This is only when i steer at slow speeds. I know it's not the steering stops because it starts to creak right when i begin to turn and i recently replaced both upper and lower ball joints and inner and outer tie rod ends so i'm pretty sure it's none of those either. Could it be the rack? Or god forbid could my frame be tweaked?
