Thatd be sweet. Do you always have a lot in the back of your truck? How do you like the 891s? I had a hard time between them and the 890s

i hual my motocross bike on the rear hitch with my moto hualer so i went with the 891s there a lil stiff but i like them and have no compliants about them.....i only run 32 psi in my tires and it helps soften the ride a bit..... i also and going to be building full front and rear custom bumpers in my buddys shop over winter so i wanted lil stiffer springs for that as well.....il be sure to post pics of the whole process when i start in few weeks...

Bump :boink:

This still going on?

Brian / Jay are your guys' skids going to be in by then?

The skids should be finished this week so I think they'll make it in time. AFAIK, we are still on for the 13th and Jay got someone to cover for him at work.

Yep still on and You are going to have to stop by so we can get some pics of your KM2's up for all to see.

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow.

Was going to take some on Sunday, but I couldnt find the cable to the camera.

I will definitely be there! :guitar3:

What time are we looking at?

As there will be plenty to do I will be opening the garage at 7:30am others I'm sure will be rolling in later but that is cool. It is looking like there is a good chance that our skids will be in by then so there will be plenty of painting to do also.

I'm fairly new to the forum but I'd love to lend a hand too and I'm not too bad a cook. I'm just down in Long Beach and wouldn't mind the drive out as long as you don't make fun of the 2WD Runner...

I think i screwed myself over for coming down.

So I put my stock stuff back on - I forgot to put on the bushing and washer on the top of the strut. Is that bad, or is it just to dampen noise?

Also, my alignment is off from doing that, so I don't know how driving 4 hours down to OC would work with a messed up alignment.

I feel stupid. I should just have waited. But noooooo

The school of hard knocks, live and learn. One good thing you didn't drive all the way down here for nothing.

So everyone knows I will still be here working on my runner I will have plenty to do with the new skid, remove and weld the back side of ront bumper, I have some more work to do on the rear bumper also so feel free to come on over and lend a hand.

Do you have room for one more 4runner?

I have been thinking about putting a 1.5" or 2" body lift on my truck.
If I could get it by then, would you guys mind helping out?
And by helping out, I mean just help guide me through the process. I need experience working on my truck.

I have some sliders waiting for the body lift to be installed.

PS.

I can bring some food (ribs, one of my favorites) for BBQ. I'm a better griller than mechanic.

Thanks,
Brad

Yeah that's fine since you weren't planning on working on your truck. I can pick you up somewhere, maybe your GF's house?
