Hi guys.
New to this forum and also new to 4x4's in general. Bought my old mans 1990 sr5. Its the 4 cyclinder petrol, automatic. Originally bought it as just an everyday car but wanting to do work to it to take it out bush now. I have a basic knowledge for automotive stuff but not much at all in the way of 4 wheel drives.
So after what i can find myself i was thinking of starting along the lines of 2"inch body lift and maybe 31's? Not sure what size tyre the 4cyclinder will want to pull?? What i should do for springs or body lift?? And anything i should in way of engine work? I heard the auto is most likely going to get hot VERY quick so updated cooling system?
Open to ALL suggestions and help. Young kid Eager to gain some hard knowledge. Haha. Thanks guys!
