Correct. They are not big at all.
 
Be careful here , you get what you pay for also make sure which one needs replaced , the front one is not replaceable but rebuildable so it may not be as easy as you think , who makes these 15 dollar u joints ? I'm almost willing to bet its not a quality piece for that price.....use the search tool for u joint issues it can be really simple or a pain in the butt...just make sure your buddy knows whats going on, you can end up replacing these to joints and still have problems with the other ones , if this happens grease the old ones you can't remove and hope for the best, other wise you need to either rebuild or replace the whole shaft from my understanding....just a, heads up !!
 
yeah the ujoints shouldnt cost too much like $20-40. and this is a part that id get a high end part as its constantly in use. if the truck is moving its being used. dont go cheap here, you will just have to replace it again in a year or so if you buy a cheap one.
 
The brand was called Brute Force. And im starting to get confused...izzard the parts ppl said theres only 2 u-joints. So im confused what u mean by which ones need replaced? And what do u mean the one isnt replaceable only rebuildable? Ugh bloody hell now ur worrying me!!!
 
There are 5 total 2 in the front and 3 in the rear , you can only replace 2 of the 5 total , google 4runner 3rd u joint , and get reading , I'd help more but I'm on my phone now
 
Hmmm ok...i'll have to look tmrw @ work...my laptop is down til friday so im on my phone as well! I might try to take a pic too under my truck tmrw of what dude told me today...

That's in a 4wd 4Runner. The OP has a 2wd.

OP, you have a total of 2 U-joints in your driveshaft. Make sure whoever replaces the U-joints, marks all three parts of the driveshaft, so they can be put back together in the same relation to each other, which should maintain the balance of the driveshaft. Marking the pinion flange in relation to the driveshaft, would be a good idea too.

LMFAO yes holy crabby patties it does!!!! Gotta love toyotas! First owner actually took very well of it. And besides this little "malfunction" she is a beauty! I bought her dirt a$$ cheap! Talked dude down from 4700 to 3000! I have many plans for my toy! New motor coming in feb :-)
