Need help - wheel and tire size

nexen tires are cheap man. i had a set on my previous 4r and no sooner after being put on, they started to chop and make noise. not to mention they had to be balanced periodically. i won't buy them again. i will wait to buy some michelins or whatever other good tire is out there.

Yeah, when I saw and felt them I decided not to get them.

I went with the buy 3 get 1 free deal on the Mesa's that had a 50,000mi warranty. I like them so far and I am very happy with the slightly bigger tire size. Thanks all for the help!!

Confirming

I have a 2002 SR5 with 225/75R15s. I have read here that 31/10.5R15s or 265/75R15s will fit my vehicle.

• Just want to confirm that this is still the case. Don't care about gas mileage or speed gauge offsets.
• I do all my off road driving on soft sand. If the 31s or 30.1s fit, have folks had issue with any rubbing etc when aired down to 8-11 psi?

My 2000 limited came stock with 265/70/16 just bumped up to 265/75/16 with out any issues.

Airing down the tire is going to squish at the bottom so should pose no issues. IMHO.
