Need Help with 02 Climate Control cluster (separated)

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a 2002 Sport 4Runner.

I noticed that the back bulbs behind the climate control cluster were burned out, so I decided to replace the bulbs. In the process the back end of the cluster separated :dammit: where the blue/white strip connects the two pieces. What can I do about this. Please help. Will this not function correctly now?

i had the same thing happen on mine its not good that its pulls apart so easily like that but all i did was seat it tightly back in and my climate control works just fine.However i cant find a bulb and twist cap that will fit in there you think you could shoot me some info on the bulbs and twist caps??

that's not a problem, the 3rd gen lcd panel in the limited has a similar type of ribbon cable ( for separation), just gently guide the blue strip into the black rectangular socket and you will be fine,
