24 - Intake air temp sensor signal
31 - Air flow meter signal
32 - same as 31
64 - Severed lock-up solenoid (torque converter related)

Check the connection at air filter housing. The MAF sensor is bad or the connection is loose, corroded, broken, etc.

As for the transmission the torque converter lock-up isn't working. It is used mainly at highway speeds or cruising speeds in 2nd-OD to drop rpms for better fuel economy.

Code 23 and 24 Intake air temperature signal fault
Code 31 and 32 Air flow meter circuit or Vacuum sensor signal fault
Code 64: Severed lock-up solenoid or short circuit - severed wire harness or short circuit

I believe these are the the ones you are looking for

thanks. the transmission as always worked great. is the air intake temp sensor part of the air flow sensor? if not where is it located? how do i clear the codes? i was thinking of clearing them and seeing if they come up again.

Yes it is part of the air flow sensor.

To clear the codes, remove the efi fuse for about 30 seconds wit the key off. Since your vehicle is running like crap, clearing the codes will do nothing to fix it.
