looking to get my wife new tires for her 2000 4runner, we want a tire great in snow....heard great things about the nitto grapplers...what size do you guys run?...265/70/16? or 265/75's? pics would also be great! thanks!!

Yokohama Geolander AT/s. Great on road manners, quiet, take very little weight to balance and wear evenly. I am on my third set on 2 different vehicles here in MI. They aren't a mud tire but aren't terrible in the mud. Excellent snow and sand traction. No issues on wet pavement ever.

I got the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10's. Great traction in dirt, gravel, snow. . . After 10k miles they still look, feel, and sound new, no loud tire noise going down the road. I'd definitely buy another set. One thing I noticed is that they tend to eject pebbles out the tread quite nicely. Very rarely do I get that annoying rotational ticking sound of a rock stuck in my tread going down the road.

Got a set of Cooper ATP's from Discount Tire Direct 265/75/16 for $122 apiece. Don't do off road, but drive alot of gravel. Very quiet on the highway and excellent traction in wet conditions. They look great too.

^ This. I've ran many AT tires and the Hankooks are far and away the best for a mostly road and little off road.
