So since I last posted I have been looking into getting some big projects started with my Runner. Since I am still new to this world I was hoiping to get some input and advice for what direction and what parts I may need to achive my goals. Currently I am looking to tackle the leaky valvecovers followed by my timing belt and waterpump. Those two jobs are both something I can handle. What Im curious and unsure of are lift items. I do not want to go huge by any means, just a bit bigger than it is currently. Heres what I have in mind so far for suspension setup and future mods.
Bilstein 5100s paired with Eibach/Toytech Spring 3'' lift for the front. (Will I need extended brake lines for this? Diff drop?) Front is currently starting to look a little droopy.
Front only 1.50-2.00 hub centric spacers. Prefer to go 2''
For the rear I would like to keep it where its at but with a nitro shock. Im unsure if the previous owner installed a bigger spring or not. My truck does not sag like I see a lot of these do. It does have aftermarket shocks already so someone was in there before. I posted a picture to see if maybe someone could identify what spring is in it for me. If I do lift it I only want to do 2'' OME items. Is there any panhard bar mods or extended brake lines needed for a 2'' rear lift?
I plan to do a CBI Hybrid front bumper
Two front "D" hooks from the stock hook locations. (Saw someone here making adapter blocks, have to find those again.)
Not looking to change my wheels and tires, possibly just the wheels with some LandCruiser 5 spoke if I can find some.
Window channel visors.
Eventually I would like to get some retrofitted Lights installed as well but thats the last thing Ill be doing.
