allright guys so i'm taking a 3,000 mile round trip this summer to CO from south texas and i'm planning to to put the rig back to stock height and stock tire size, 265/70/17.
here's why and I would like to here your thoughts.
I love the way the rig looks, I don't take this off roading, the only off roading I do is when I go to the beach. I am now thinking of the future and realize there wont be any more than the beach because of the area that I live. I want to go back to stock height because all I did it for was for the looks and nothing else. since where I live is all flats. The height has given problems to my short wife
and quite frankly i'm tired of 15-16mpg also related to the larger tires. I feel I can achieve a similar look with my current wheels and a more aggressive at tire such as the duratrac and possibly spacers.
I would like to replace my current 285s with duratrac 265s and back to stock height. I use to run 19-20MPG on stocks and I miss that, I know its not much but in the long run I know it will be worth it.
I also have bilsteins in the front and i'm debating on weather to set the at .85 or back to 0 stock height? what are your thought on this?
