There was an article in a 4x4 magazine about winch stress tests. Does anyone know where I can find it?

Really hard to find the one you looking for if we don't even know what mag.

I remember Petersen's 4Wheel & Off-Road had a feature on electric & hydraulic systems.

The one brand hydraulic (can't recall name) was to be hooked up to power steering & ended up smoking the p/s unit. The factory later claimed that the p/s unit was too old, therefore the failure. Recommendations was to R/R new p/s... Don't see those around-
