So my 17 year old daughter got her license and I she is driving my 4Runner. I know, it kills me but I commute 25 miles (one way) and she has a 2 mile commute.
The 4Runner currently has 196,000 miles.
Anyway, last week CEL came on and she got the P0133 (Bank 1, sensor 1). Last year, I replaced the MAF, so I ordered a DENSO O2 Sensor and replaced it, reset the CEL light.
Next day, CEL came back on and started stuttering at idle and low speeds. So I cleaned the MAF and changed the air filter reset the CEL.
Today, the issue came back. This time we got the P0306, cylinder 6 misfire.
I will check the plugs and wires again (but replaced the plugs and wires about 10k miles ago) but if that is not the issue, should I go down the fuel injector route?
If it's the injector should I buy OEM $117 or Denso? Also, is it easy to replace an injector or should I take it to a shop. I have average mechanical skills. (I replaced driveshaft, Tundra brake mod, and bled brakes)
Thanks
