My 95 4runner feels every little bump out there. Feels too stiff. When I do go over a big bump it just feels as if its going to come apart. Ive had the truck for about 2months so I dont know what or if suspension work was done to it over the years.

Id appreciate the help since Ive done almost everything to a car except suspension work.

Is it lifted? Sounds like your t-bars are cranked up for height. The solution is a ball joint spacer lift, check 4crawler.com

Pics help us alot, allows us to see your set up and make suggestions instead of taking shots in the dark. Is it a IFS, or has it been swapped to a solid axle. Shocks, shock bushings, tires, and rims can drasticly affect ride quality.

old suspension components will cause bad rides so you may just want to out new ball joints and shocks and springs.

Dont over look the control arm bushing either. They can rot out over time and make for a rough ride.

Suggest get the front end off the ground and check for anything obvious by checking for movement from side to side or up and down; wheel bearings, ball joints, idler arm, bearings, tie rods, bushings, shocks, cross supports, etc. Usually can take the vehicle to a local shop and they will put it on the rack and give you an est. . Took the 90 to 'Wheel Works', they offer a front end inspection for $20 and provide a list of cost for parts and labor. Word of caution, they are like used car salesman and want to start replacing part then and there. Need to be firm, I told them I just wanted an estimate so I could make a decission whether or not to spend the money on a 90 vehicle. In my case, could not afford the cost of labor and decided to take the list to trusted part supplier and ordered the parts. Disassembled and found there were a couple items on the list that did not need to be replaced.
