If you have ~5k or less on your 285’s I would recommend buying another new one as a spare and do a 5 tire rotation. It is now illegal for any California tire shop to sell used tires. I tried for months on the forum to get a good used 285 to no avail. Would be best to buy another matching wheel also for the 5 tire rotation. There are spare tire skid plates that protect your spare too. Good luck either way you go.
