How much are HIDs? I worked at the MB dealer over summer since my mom performed a surgery on the doctor, so he gave me a shot (I had a great time washing cars and doing small things like oil changes, it was fun!)

No, I'm kidding, I don't plan on spending much on mods on this rig, and btw [MENTION=65614]Antman[/MENTION] I adore your car, your family must have a blast riding around in that thing. I wasn't kidding about working at the dealer though, it was a really fun summer job and I learned a lot.

okay, I was basically asking for sh*t by posting that, and once again, my dad would've bought me any car I wanted, in reason, I wanted an SR5 4runner, I'd rather spend the excess on mods!

And I might as well get out of being used to being spoiled, I'll be out of school in 9 years, and I'll be on my own then!

I feel totally overshadowed now. Guess I'll return the Robinson R-22 helicopter that I bought my daughter for her 16th birthday. Right after she earned her private pilot certificate. Which I also paid for.:bash:

My 4Runner feels the exact same way! After going from a permit and driving my parent's cars to my own 4Runner, it is such a pain to start it up. My dad drives a MB and my mom drives a BMW and it's hard to go back from a push-button to a turn-key. I guess both of us will get over it eventually.

No need to be dicks. He's young, he's sheltered, yes spoiled, it's how some people are raised. Not everyone is as lucky to be in such a position, including myself and most of us here.

1engineer's response is spot on. Give some advice and clarity that most people aren't as fortunate. None of us would turn down a brand new car, so why can we blame him? In fact, shit, I wouldn't even turn down an old car.
