Hey guys, finally sold my F250 and jumped/squeezed my 6'6 frame into a 4runner.

Bonus: upon driving away from the dealership, I realized it has navigation. Sweet! Must come with the 4x4 package I guess.

13 hours after coming home from the dealer, it got it's first "mod".

Next up will be the running board delete and then maybe a Hitchswing!

Welcome to the group, spend your time (money) wisely here. The addiction will take its grip fairly quickly lol.

Congrats and welcome!

I think they all have Entune w/Nav now. Its been part of their "Keep it Wild" promo package/offer since I bought mine last year. It's basically free now because iirc its a $500 option and the promo is $500 off the package.

I'm sure he knew he was getting a 4x4 but not Nav.

Ahh, I understand. Text is hard to read sometimes.

I thought the "Must come with the 4x4 package" statement was not related to nav. I.E. "This T4R must come with the 4x4 package, I guess."

Still - how does one not know a vehicle has navigation prior to writing a check?

I guess in hindsight, I realized it had Nav on the test drive...but I was already so stoked on the deal with 4x4 and back up etc..that the nav was just a bonus. :eyebrows:

Wish I saw your comment sooner because the addiction got to me about one week from the date of my purchase.:fish:
I hear that haha. I joined here a couple months before I even bought mine. I knew I was buying one, just had to wait for the right one to come in my path. Needless to say, it never came in my path. I had to drive from Pittsburgh to Brooklyn to get the one I wanted. I swear this is worse than when I had my M3 (addiction-wise) haha

Are there 5th gen 4runners without nav? I didn't know it wasn't standard on all of them since 2010.

The majority of SR5 and Trail models I have found from 2010-2012 do not have Nav. Seemed to be an increasingly popular option come 2013, and pretty standard since 2014.

This is, of course, from my looking into buying one. Not actual sales numbers...

I didn't either. Nav isn't/wasn't a priority for me.

My only demands were:
  • 4x4
  • NO sunroof (I'm super tall)
  • white, gray, or silver

beyond that I didn't really care.

You spent $35,000+ without even knowing if its 4x4 or has navigation?

They gave you reverse for free? Sweet! :D

Y'all leave that poor man alone :lmao:

OP: Sweet truck! I love mine (well, my wife's............) TRDP. Great vehicles! They definitely inspire addiction. It has been a while since I have wanted to spend my fun money on anything but guns and reloading components, lol.

IIRC, way back in 2010, Nav was a $2000 option. It was the !@#$$% Sunroof option that seemed ubiquitous.

2nd mod accomplished this AM in 10 minutes:

Running Board Delete! I imagine that is a 5hp gain.
