New 2013 Limited 7 passengers.

So, I got my new 4Runner yesterday. Limited/7 passengers.

As much as I have loved my 2 tacoma's (2009 and 2011), I wanted this moment to happen since 2010, when the new 4Runner model debuted.

My other car is a hyundai accent 2005, that I bought new, and turboed. Pretty fun car to drive as a secondary vehicle.

I have been active on another forum (tacomaworld) but I think that I might have to switch with this new vehicle. Anyway, I have been lurking this forum for the last 2 years.

Well the real usage of this post is to give a special thanks to Antman for his oil change thread, and all the others helping spread information about this wonderful truck. Sure this place will never have the massive amount of information that tacomaworld has since there are way less 4runners on the road, but I am pretty sure I will find what I need.

And quick question: is there a way to calibrate the MPG meter (like on a scanguauge)? Can't seem to find the info in the manual.

I have not taken good pics of the interior, though, there is no significant changes that could justify worrying about it.

Here in canada, I paid my truck 500$ over the price the dealer paies for it, which mean a 4500$ rebate relative to price stated on toyota.ca.

Anybody has an answer to my question above?

I don't KNOW if it is the same But, on my new Camry SE (same style meter/gauge) when I hold the tripometer reset button after the trip resets - the meter "zeros" out - Resets.

Reset does not equal calibration. Calibration is done by comparing fuel pumped into the vehicle vs fuel calculated.

I was just trying to help. I know calibration isn't resetting but sometimes people use words in different ways.
I don't see how calibration is possible, I would think the computer is programmed to make its calculations based on input from the onboard sensors
mileage/fuel gauge/etc.

Couldn't find anything over the net also. I think you are right there, there must be a fuel qty sensor in the tank making it possible for an auto calibration from the ecu. Ppl in here seem to get a pretty accurate reading from the oem gauge. My scangauge though had to be calibrated +12% to be accurate.
