Hey everyone, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Nick and this is my first 4Runner. I've been in an 07 FJ until I found a good deal on this 2014 TEP w/KDSS. Only has 11k miles.

Thanks everyone, really excited to get started. There has been a lot of inspiration on this forum! I am looking to have a build similar another (former?) member.

A couple updated pics. Not sure if this has a lift or leveling kit. But I bought it like this and it has 285/70/17 terra grapplers on it with no rubbing...

Judging from pics it definitely has some sort of lift or leveling kit. Plus you'd getting rubbing with 285/70 if it was stock.

That's what I figured it was. Thank you!

Now if I were to add new aftermarket wheels/tires could I still run into some rubbing issues?

Check out the sticky at the top of the forum for new owners. There should be lots for you to read on tire and wheel fitment. The answer to your question, without knowing specifically what tires/wheels you're considering is "depends."

Now time for a proper lift and tires... Boss 2.5 lift, Total Chaos UCA's, Toytec HD springs with new boss shock reservoirs. Also upgraded to 285 duratracs! Couldn't be happier with the outcome
