New 2015 SR5 4WD

Hi all,

I recently traded, and picked up a magnetic grey 2015 4Runner SR5 4WD.
It was pretty much stripped, just got the navigation, pull out tailgate, floor mats and running boards.

I ended up trading a Mini Countryman AWD. just not for me.

Before the Mini, I have had a Titan Pro4X lifted with a headache rack, 2007 FJ Cruiser 4WD strippy model, 2001 Tacoma SR5 4WD, and a early 90's Tacoma Std cab 4WD.

I felt like a fish out water, with the Mini. Just dreaded taking it to work.
Not all that sure what I was thinking when I purchased it.

Anyways, I am happy to be driving a Toyota again

As for upgrades, here is what I am thinking:
-2" lift kit.
-TRD skid plate.
-OEM roof rails.
-OEM exhaust tip.

As toward questions, I do have one.......
What fuse do use if you want to hardwire a radar detector?
I have the hardware cable and add-a-fuse.

Welcome to the forum!

You can use that mini-tap in the P/OUTLET fuse in the driver's footwell fusebox. This will give you power whenever the ignition is "on" only. It's the upper right fuse...

I really love my SR5, I had an 03 Tacoma, then a 2007 Tacoma now my 14 T4R and I have to say this is by far the best truck yet.

I lost all sense of control and had a duramax before the T4R and that thing was a reliability nightmare from day 1 so it lasted about two months.

Which radar detector are you going to use? Is it a under the hood one (stealth)?

I am interested to see your solution.

By the way, CONGRAT on the new 4Runner, I picked up mine last weekend.
