I had planned on posting my 2015 Trail on the forum for sale, 128,000 miles and great service, but just happened to stop into one of the Toyota dealerships in OKC last Thursday night, just looking at the new models.
At 66 I find myself not doing as much off road adventures as I did in 2015. Found a nice Magnetic Gray Metallic Nightshade Limited I really liked, and just decided to test drive it.
Loved the vehicle. I told the new car manager I needed to get $20K for 2015 Trail and they needed to pay off the note, $2,600. He said too much at first, so I called CarMax while I was standing in his office.
They said bring it over and we'd look at it, if it was in good enough condition, they'd give me the $20K.
Cut to the chase, the manager agreed on my terms and now I have a new 4Runner in the garage. Goodbye to Ole' Blue and hello to Graycie Nightshade.
Have to install my Frontrunner rack, and a few other items on the new ride, dealer said they didn't want the Frontrunner rack, so I took it off the 2015 and will put it on the new ride this weekend.
I'm one happy camper!
