Proud new owner of a 2011 T4R that was purchased in Germany, I'm told. The former owner was in the military and I believe was re-deployed. So it has a funky rear fog light on the bottom rear bumper. I'll be posting pic later. Just wanted to say hi for now!

It is likely just one light on the drivers side. This gets posted on the 986 forum regularly. People always think they have a fog light out on their Boxster, when it is just the way the cars are designed. One light in the rear on the drivers side.

That's exactly what I have. I really want to move it. Will be looking at some LED options soon.
