What's up guys! First time 4runner owner as of a week ago
Picked up a new 4runnertrail in nautical blue with kdss! Can't wait for the rain to slow to take her out on some roads sometime to break in the 4wd!
She's stock for now but got a list of mods I'm aiming for!

So let me get this right. You bought a 4WD and you're waiting for it to stop raining before you go try it out? HELLO!!!! :faint::laugh::madgrin::confused::moon::hiding:

And you live in Washington state!? AND YOU'RE WAITING FOR IT TO STOP RAINING!!!???

I don't know how great the stock tires will work in mud. They don't seem like they will do super good

It's a Trail. Stick it in 4 lo, poosh the ATRAC and rear Locker buttons, and go out and play with the other kiddies! And remember, in mud momentum is king. :biggrin2:

Welcome and great color choice. You'll not see many around in the blue.

You'll be surprised at how well the stock Trail with stock tires preform. You're a short drive from Tahuya, you'll have a blast there with your stock rig and increase you confidence in the stock setup. Will also get you use to the rear locker, which you'll use due to your stock tires. That place will also allow you to checkout all your Trail goodies such as crawl and multi-terrain.

Went and played with the 4wd ealier in a empty field that was a gravel and sand mix.
I love te blue color. I didn't care about colors to much just not black but my wife fell in love love with the blue so that's what I got
Yeah I'm lookin to get some new tires that are more suited to for off roads
 
Yeah I can't wait to check out Tahuya. And hopefully some forest roads in te capital forest area. Wish I knew of more.

I'm for sure a nob but then again who isn't one to somebody
 
Stock tires will do good in rain or snow. I drove my TEP thru heavy snow storm at Crater Lake and it handle just fine. Go take her out and put some mud on her ;-)
 
finally got her out for some off raoding this weekend. went to tahuya state forest.
its a blast.
no damage to report, just a dirty muddy 4runner.

played around on the 4x4 loop and some other loops, yellow jacket trail was killer, riff raff also, theres a couple spots on the 84n trail in the upper that got her suspension working
now ill be back there every weekend haha.
im still not to sure what all trails i can fit on but i did quite a bit random trails also. was there about 2.5 hours
