Hi guys i recently purchased a 04 SR5 with a v6 and 2wd got it for a good price though and better then my acura:trophy: anyways im in the process of upgrading it i had it tinted 2 days ago im putting in hid's tomorrow and i ordered a autopage alarm for it now my question is has anyone on here installed a autopage remote start and alarm on there runner because ima diy'er and so i plan on doing it myself and if anybody has any experience on it that'd would be great thanks.

What immobilizer bypass are you going to install? The 4runner wiring is pretty simple to understand. That being said, use a meter to check every wire before cutting and/or splicing into. The bcm can be ruined easily by hooking something up wrong. I would recommend soldering every connection you can get to and use heat shrink and not just tape. Make sure all your ground wires have a good paint free ground.
