New 4th Gen Phone Mount - OFFROAM

Hi all -

Thought I would share this new 4th gen phone mount option. Not sure about you, but I wasn't happy with any of the current 4th gen phone mount options and I didn't want to stick a cheap looking adhesive mount on top of my dash. So I started bugging this company (politely) throughout the last year and a half, and they’ve now created this rad mount for the 4th gen community.

The mounting base itself is very secure, easy to install, doesn’t require modification to the vehicle, and can be mounted in 2 different locations. They also offer 3 different style phone mounts to use with the mounting base. Everything seems to be great quality and is CNC'd from aluminum.

The mount is made by OFFROAM. This is not a paid advertisement and I have no affiliation with the company. I just know this is a product I was hoping to find for a long time and figured some of you may be interested as well. Cheers!

I might need to replace my suction cup arm with this. It loses suction occasionally and puts the phone to the right of the headunit. This looks way better.

Yeah this thing has been solid for me so far and the placement of it makes it easy to see and reach. It can also be mounted on the passenger side too which is a cool feature if someone prefers that side for whatever reason.

No, I can still move and adjust the fan blades with it on.

That’s pretty slick. I like that you don’t have to mar the dash with screws.
Any chance they have something for a 2nd gen Sequoia?

Unfortunately I don't think they do, but I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with something for it. Especially since I believe it's the same dash as the early year 2nd gen Tundras.

How does that phone mount attach to the vent/dash?

I've been using the ProClip mount over the vent for years but was never happy about it covering the air vent. Thank you for bugging them! I'll be picking one of these up!

Yeah I can't blame ProClip as the 4th gen dash doesn't give these companies much space to work with for mounts, but I think this one is done in a better way.

I found this mount by Google search yesterday and didn't notice it just came out. Do you happend to have some pictures of the back plate? I'm trying to figure out how the clamp mechanism works
