Do you think it's time for T4R.org to go ahead and make a 6th gen forum, so we can stop the useless threads in our 5th gen forum?

I locked the two new threads that new guy started and I will lock every new one that is pure speculation. If it is based on fact then I will let it progress but we have enough speculative threads right now, thank you.

No, a sixth gen forum is not warranted...yet. Why? Because there is absolutely no factual proof that there will be a sixth gen 4Runner. There are no facts on it at all. Again, when there is I'm sure we will start a 6th gen subforum. In reality all 6th gen questions and speculation should go in the general subforum, not the 5th gen subforum.
 
Soon we'll have a poll for where to move the polls complaining about 6th gen posts. This poll is more useless than the 6th gen threads.

1st month - everybody thinks its ugly
2nd month - 75% think its still ugly, 25% have bought it and think it's the best version
3rd month - 1000 posts on the 6th Gen and the flame wars start
4th month - everybody wants one except the 1st, 3rd and 4th Gen V8 guys
5th month - 1engineer is starting a 6th gen section

I left this thread active to inform everyone that, IF there is definitive proof and a definitive timeline for the 6th gen 4Runner, THEN there will be a 6th gen subforum created. Until then we will live with all the 6th gen speculation that is already in existing threads and any new threads that don't include fact will be locked.

I wonder if Toyota USA and Canada know this website exists..... and how many awesome this have been done to the 4Runners in here.

They better not mess up the new 4Runner cuz' that's what I am waiting on.
 
The LC keeps getting slightly more bloated and, in IMO, more pedestrian looking, so I don't have super high hopes for the 6th Gen. That's why I pulled the trigger on the 5th. That, and after waiting for the new Taco to come out, and then comparing to the 4R, the runner just was a better vehicle for us.
