New 97 4runner, need advice on lifts but not trying to break the bank!

I got a 97 4runner about a month ago and now want to start to put upgrades on it. Any advice on good lifts that aren't to expensive. i'm not going to be going too much off-road driving. any other upgrades on your 4unners that you would like to share would be great!
