Good looking out on the reviews! I really haven't heard of weapon r I just thought it was a good find. oh well, however if it where HKS or Top Secret or GREDDY I jump on it in a heartbeat.

Hey guys,
I just got a 2005 4Runner, 4.7L V8, 4x4, stock.
I'm new to the 4Runners and will customize it little by little.
I was thinking about chipping it & changing out the intake & exhaust. I'd like to get better fuel econ & maybe a little more horsepower. What are your suggestions for cold air intake, upgraded exhaust & the performance chips?
What's the deal with the TRD or K&N stuff?
Just want to get in to it the right way.

in terms of chips there are only two for the V-8 that I am aware. both are MAF sensors to help lean the air to fuel mixture. URD and JET are the makers. in terms of intakes K&N and Volant (V8) and exhaust there are so many things you can do there. headers are one but on the cat back side I'd go with Borla or Magnaflow.
