i really want to mod a car, but i am thinking that modding a 4runner is a lost cause. i mean i read alot about mods on 4runners, and most of them conclude to up the hp just a little. i want to be able to invest in a car that will last me, and will be a good investment....if anyone has any ideas or opinions let'em out

Buy a Lamborghini or some exotic car. That should last you and will be a good investment sitting most of the time in your garage vs the road.

Dude... there are so many things you can do to a 4Runner, street mods OR off-roading, you can do a lot...

Funny, just sold a highly modified 5 series, and after that I claimed I would never buy or mod a car like that again. Frankly I don't think it's worth it, modding a car makes it more difficult to resale, introduces rattles, and creaks; not to mention the increase in the chances of breakdowns.

johnpsmith84,

what year is your truck? There are plenty of options to increase power on a 4Runner. Supercharging is an option for 6-cylinder models and will yield good hp/$. V8 models can be overhauled for a $hitload of power, it is all a matter of how much time and $ you want to invest.
