Not to hijack, but I just went looking for Matt's old posts, especially the ones about the manual tranny and his farewell where he said he had sold his truck...and they're all gone. Nothing...is that not weird? Why make all that stuff up?

Wait a minute . . . can you really put this engine in a 4runner? I mean can you do it with about the same amount of fabrication as doing a diesel conversion? anyone who has done it. or anyone who knows someone who has done it, please tell

If you're rebuilding anyway, thought about adding some more displacement? You could bore it out .030 over or so. I haven't really seen much on this but if I was rebuilding it would definitely be a consideration for me.

If your going to do an engine swap, I say do it right and put one of these bad boys in.

People put LS1 is all kinds of cars....it would be AWESOME in a Runner.

Is it possible to put this in? What would I need to put something like this in it? I mean with all the tuning to make it fit into a 1996-99? how much would the tuning cost? ruff estimate?
