BTW Alex did you inspect for damage, hows it look? Going to fix my tire in the AM so i'll put it up on the rack for a good look but other than that scuff on the rocker and rear wheel I'm looking pretty good.

And I think Dimitri had a great time too, he was def eager to go out the second time :boink:

Yea. Here's my damage thus far! Haven't looked under it quite yet.

I don't think I saw any other damage.

My dad had a great time! I'm glad it's something we can do together :). Plus, it's more reason for my mods :D. He hasn't given me **** for a day about the money I spent on my truck; a major improvement!

Here is the link to the website for the tire carrierhttp://m.xtor4x4.com/Rear-Bumpers.html. I can give you the guy's cell #. Tell him I sent you, you'll get a deal.

The great thing about the carrier is that it's removable. It goes into your hitch. Use it for wheeling and drop the spare under your frame, take it off for daily driving and throw your factory spare under the frame! Bing bang boom. Done.

HaHa ya dads enjoying himself thats why he aint giving you any $hit, that is til you break something. :lmao: Thanks for the link I'll check it out and nice job on the gauges I like the blue it looks sweet :thumb3:

Oh ya and the damage, we already had seen the tail pipe and push bar and don't forget your newly formed running boards hehe. Was wondering about underbody you rubbed a couple big rocks just hoping all is okay under there.

Haha I can't wait to get sliders! I rubbed quite a bit. Hopefully my truckstate exam checks out with no problems! (prostate joke).

Did you bottom out at all? No damage other than the valve stem and the scuff, right?

No I never bottomed out or heard anything grinding along underneath but then again I drove around the big rocks not over em. :wink2: Gave it a quick look this morning and all looks good, I'm going to my brother in law's shop tomorrow morning to fix my tire so I'll put it up on the lift and have a good look but should be fine. Also going to re-torque all my lift parts I installed last month and have a good look at them to make sure all is still proper.

And yes sliders are at the top of my list now they would have saved me on Saturday

Yea dad and I are both on the same page about breaking stuff. It's all fun and games til you have to fix your baby; your pride and joy.

Tell him I sent you for the tire carrier please!! :).

BTW, presents came today! What color should I paint it? I'm picking up some self-etching primer this weekend and was going to get some rattle can spray paint. I'm just not sure what color to go with...

Nice! I just ordered my engine and tranny skids the other day. Are they really 3/16"; do they feel beefy or weak? did you just get the engine skid?

Just measured them. They are 3/16" on the nose. Definitely beefy. I'm getting a lift before I get the transmission and xfer case skids. This is just to replace my completely mangled factory skid.

I was thinking silver or red. The only thing is that nothing on my truck is red. Also, since I'm going with the OME setup down the road, maybe yellow?

OME Stuff is yellow. I like the idea of having a yellow skid sticking out. I don't know how red would look. I'll make a game day decision tomorrow.
