My grandparents own a house at the base of Mt. Snow in West Wardsboro, VT, so I'd like to get up there at some point this year.

Even a meet up with some of the guys in CT to check out the differences in the rigs would be interesting enough to me. I'd love to see the difference(s), if any, in the way we set them up down here, as compared to the ones up there.

I'm currently running a '99 Limited, Locked front and rear, 4.88, 63" Chevy swap in the rear, DR coilovers up front, BudBuilt skid plates, clocking ring, Manual transfer case and hubs, with a set of Falken Rocky Mountain 265/75/16s.

Unfortunately, that would be a long drive, and I'd have to take leave, something I'm not really wanting to burn at this point.

As much as I'd likt to get to SETO, I don't think it's going to happen. I need bumpers, and I highly doubt I'll have the time to fab them between now and then, much less get everything else done(winch, gas tank swap, custom crossmember, front and rear bumpers) I need to with the truck. Looks like I'll be up in CT/VT on Labor Day weekend, so I'll be looking forward to seeing if there's any meets out that way.

Let me know guys!

Nice rig! Did you make the 1/2's yourself? Looks like OEM doors cut down. Honestly was expecting a different look while reading your description, till I got to the tire size that is. Not to be taken as a put down as I like it! Kinda like a wheeling sleeper if ya know what I mean :thumb3:

On an unrelated note- I went to Lou's today. They are going to put in a stock equivalent muffler. I just listened to some of Alex's clips. My exhaust sounds VERY similar. I guess I'm not cut out for an aftermarket exhaust anymore. I'm also having them reroute the tip out the side as I originally requested because, while having it dump where it does helps with the not getting crushed while wheeling aspect of things, it doesn't help with fumes coming in through the back window when it's open or through the pressure vent mounted in the lower quarter. We'll probably be having kids soon after we get married and I don't want the fumes coming in if I sit idling too long. I won't get a fancy tip, that way if it gets crushed, I can just bang it back.

Glad to see you're gonna relocate the tip! While I know a lot of peeps dump the exhaust under their rigs, personally I'd rather be safe than sorry especially if you have young kids. Exhaust tips can be replaced...
 
They fixed it, put a new muffler in, I'm happy. It's also got more growl than stock because of the resonator being gone.

Did they go back to their "House muffler" ??? I was told it is made by Borla !!!

That is what they just installed on my Taco and I am quite happy.....as you stated....growl but no tinny noise and they "tucked" mine up a little by making new hangers.....Very happy with them.....
 
No, I had their house "turbo" muffler. It sucked. I ended up having them put in their stock-equivalent generic muffler (not sure of that's what you're referring to). I didn't feel like messing around with a Flowmaster or Magnaflow for a negligible power increase. It being slightly louder is just due to the resonator being gone.
 
They actually have 3. The plain jane one that i have, the turbo, which sounds similar to a magnaflow and a "two chamber ss" muffler, which they said is even louder.

I like my magnaflow. You should hear it from the cabin when I'm not beating the sh*t out of my engine hahah.
 
August 11th, doing a run with 4Runners and Taco's in Henniker. Doing some different trails from the poker run earlier this summer. All are welcome! I'll have time/meeting spot info for you shortly when I get back in the states!

We are meeting at the intervale farm pancake house; 43 Flanders road, Henniker, NH. At 9 for breakfast and to meet, then we will drive about 3 miles to the trails
