What the hell happened?

The nut came off the long bolt that holds the upper control arm and the bolt backed out. Luckily we were able to fix it on the trail thanks to Johnnym and his old u-bolts!

Did everything go back together? Was there any other damage?

Had A good look at it today and found no other damage. I ordered a new bolt and nut from Toyota and also new bushings, sleeves and washers from SPC. All I really need is just the nut and one washer from SPC but it was only $40 for everything so I'll just replace everything. The temp fix is gonna stay in place till I get the parts to fix it properly.

I wanted to go today but figured it best to get the repair done properly before going out again...well not really I just decided to sleep in instead. lol

Nice I went to Gretchen's for the first time this year with Yankee Toys. It was great cant wait to go back for the fall gathering. I think it's that last week in Sept. are you going?

No thats Fall Crawl, sponsored by the NEA4WD, not to be confused with fall gathering which is hosted by Yankee Toys, and is more just for their club. Its in Hancock NH and you have to be a member of NEA4WD Club to attend. Most of the trails are already booked, this is a huge event and trail signups fill up very fast. Unfortunately, Im not making it to either, But will be back with my club hopefully some time in Oct..

Gretchens is totally worth the trip. Definatly some of the best wheeling in the NorthEast

On a side note.. Anyone know of a rust freeish fuel tank and sending unit for a 3.0 v6? Either a 4runner tank or a pickup tank will work, my mounts are adjustable.
