Didn't go to Fall Crawl but I'm going to Fall Gathering. Going to VT expo this weekend. The weekend after Fall Gathering going to upstate NY for another trail ride. I've been getting in a lot of wheel time. I definitely need more wrench time have too many parts and projects just sittin in the garage. I also need to throw up some pics of all the 4 wheel action

I know most of you guys here don't venture into the 5th gen forum so I'll post this here also:

Anyone planning to attend the Vermont Overland Rally September 20-23?? There will be 4 hour guided tours of class IV roads on both Friday and Saturday as well as clinics on driving techniques (for Alex!) and recovery techniques. They'll also have vendors on hand showing off their goods and hopefully lots of info and maps for Vermonts class IV roads.

TitanPat, Joneseyyy and a couple others are going and I'm almost positive I will also go, will know for certain tomorrow. If you are interested check out the links in the above thread.

What happened to you, i didn't see you today? Are you coming tomorrow or Sunday?

It was a great trip. I was able to map out one of the trails so I no where I'm going if I go back up there myself.

I'm in if the date works but don't know about putting my truck in that gully :nono: maybe if I had a '91 or even an '01 heck I'd even drive "The trail groomer" through there. Maybe come November I'll be more open to creases in the side (it'll be over a year old by then) :wink2:

I'm with Billy on the creases down the sides of my truck. And no Billy, you can't drive the trail groomer up that gully. No.

Some easy wheeling I'm down for. No more auto body costs for me!

I have no body damage from these trail rides yet. In my opinion they are pretty tame. Choose the right line and don't be afraid to ask for a spot and you shouldn't get any damage. I do have some scratches from bushes an tree branches. But a heavy coat of wax before you hit the trail will prevent most of these scratches. I say all of your vehicles are capable of doing these tails without any real damage.

It's wide enough for an 80 so all I us would fit. Last weekend at overland rally we crisscrossed some of these same trails an there was a for excursion in the group. So needless to say the trials are a little but wider now.

Finished pulling my motor! Picking up a new (to me, 60k on it) on Tuesday. Currently my only other ride is a motorcycle, and these 35* morning are starting to get to me. Haha.

Back in the late 80's I had an old $hitbox of a car that always broke down and had to ride my bike for almost the entire months of December and January so I feel your pain!!

Keeping relevance (not really) my dad made me ride my bike to school 2 miles away from October-January with a broken arm for some of those months. One of those single-gear BMX bikes... Way to go dad!
