It sucked driving to school in the tdi jetta which was 5 miles ride in winter as the jetta takes a solid 10-15 minutes to start to thaw out. Im sure the Rovers heater will leave much to be desired this winter.

Yea, you're lucky the Rover even has "heat". Lol. Those are quite utilitarian, to say the least.

Sounds like a plan Will, let me know when you want to make the trek up. I have spent the last few weeks making some decent upgrades. Picked up a set of 285 Duratracs and my clazzio seat covers finally came in!!! I will try to shoot some pics tonight. I just need to adjust my front suspension and hopefully get some UCAs soon. I am getting some rubbing on the inner fender well, done some light trimming, don't want to go crazy until I can get the camber maxed first.

Nope. Henniker is usually quite tame. Just ask for a spot if needed!

Throw a heavy coat of wax on your truck though. We've already trashed one SRP truck over the last 6 months. Lol.

True, luckily i believe it was standard kit for my model.

I was in Shelton CT this evening in the rover, drove past what appeared to be a green 96-98 4runner with a 3-4'' lift, Sastoshi front grille mod with the FJ 40 toyota badge, sliders, and 33" tires, does anyone know who that is, i would be surprised if they aren't on the forum.

Nah, the only time my cars are ever at repair shops are to install tires and inspections, thats it.

Its in good shape, shouldn't give too much of a hassle, motors been rebuilt with unleaded head, and I'm sticking to factory maint specs, little stuff will break but i can always get home.

Is there gonna be a meet up in CT or lower mass at all?

I forgot about this . Frostys was a good time . The owner Ron is in his 70s and a hot **** . Real nice guy . He was beating up his jeep pretty good . Trying a bunch of lines nobody else tried . Ill try and dig up some photos . Only carnage that day was my truck , bent rear driveshaft , made for a fun 2 hour ride home lol .

Only meets I know of are Henniker, NH on the 14th and the Pine Barrens of New Jersey on October 28th
