Finally getting some garage time starting this weekend long overdue.
Never enough garage time...
Since this is a NE thread, it seems appropriate to bring up the fact that
Ravens kick New Englands a$$.
Now that's something to celebrate !! :guitar3: :clap2 ::frog:
Big things happening soon for me up this way..

Man, this thread got moved to a crappy area.
Anyway, I'm trying to plan a family camping trip this summer. My dad has a bad knee, so hiking out to the spot is a no go. I would, however like to avoid a large campground with a lot of people. I have the 4R, which should be lifted by the time the trip rolls around and he has a new taco, so fairly easy trails should be ok. Do any of you have any remote spots you like to go to?
Pine Barrens? Easy trails (AVOID THE DAMN WATER!!!!!!) and there's lots of remote camping. Plus tons of lifted Toyota's to play with on the trails
I was hoping for something closer to here, pretty much anywhere in New England (hence the NEW ENGLAND bs thread :flipoff: )
If we were to go to the pine barrens, which of the campsites listed here is nearest to where you were wheeling? I can't seem to find a good map:

Seized rear calipers now! WOOOOO![]()
Maybe you picked up a gremlin in that pond?
Goshens pond camp site.
Try the white mountains region. Lots of camping, trails, and family fun.
Don't hate on the NJ suggestion
Thanks. Yeah, I typically go to the white mountains. I was just looking for something a little further off the beaten path than all the family campgrounds there.
I'll hold my comments on NJ lol
That's the point of posting here; if I knew a spot, I wouldn't be asking you guys haha. I'm hoping someone has a hidden gem that they can share with me. Out west, there are trails that lead to primitive sites along water or on a mountain or something similar, I was hoping to find something like that around here.
