What is legality of clear turn signals in MA.

Well, my 4runner is from MA, previous owner installed clears. I have been at many emergency scenes with state police with my clear lenses and white bulbs, nobody has said anything. BUT, should you get into a crash, the answer could be different. I wouldn't worry about it, they look sweet!

When I was part of the Grand Am scene, I know several people who had been pulled over by state police for having clear corners on the 99-05 Grand Ams. Wasn't a problem for the 96-98 Grand Ams because they came from the factory clear. So maybe it depends on how familiar with the vehicles the cops are, or if they just feel like giving someone a hard time.

Well, my truck needs some love...brakes, cv axle and, after 165,000 miles, its time to upgrade the XREAS with something else though I STILL haven't decided on springs!

Thinking about doing it all in one shot some nice spring weekend...sick on Friday, lifted 4Runner on Monday

I'd recommend toytech Superflex. It keeps your ride comfortable. That or go OME for added weight

OME was about the only one I was considering. I don't recall the spring numbers at the moment but IIRC there were two springs offered on the website and it sounds like I should go for the softer of the two...?

Spring rates for cars and race bikes, sure! Spring rates for a lift on a truck is not something I know a lot about, hence the indecision.

Go for softer springs with stiffer shocks if that makes sense. That way, on the road, you'll get good handling, but off road you will have insane articulation.

Go stiffer if you plan on aftermarket bumpers/winch/carry a lot of tools

I like the handling of the Bilstein shocks. They actually give the same/better ride than xreas!

I'm on my second OME setup and I love it. First setup was no bumpers or skid plates. I was running 880 up front and 906 in the rear with their nitro shock It was a firm ride but not hard. Now I have a lot o extra weigh and have a firmer springs 881 up front and 890 in the rear. Can't honestly compare to any other company cause haven had anything but stock. Next time we go wheeling you can take my truck for a spin. This way you can actually try before you buy.

A small ding that I didn't fix which now turning into a much larger issue...a blessing, IMO

I'm leaning toward the medium duty package offered on rocky-road.com at the moment...think everything was in the neighborhood of $780 (unless another place can do better?). Skids and sliders would be about the only additional weight gains other than when I'm towing.
Ultimately the goal is to get the ground clearance that Toyota should have started with from the factory.
I appreciate your offer. I'm hoping to have this done before the next time arrives.

I also order from rock road outfitters both times. Be ready for a long wait. Both times I has to wait what seems like a very long time. Whatever time frame they gave me it seemed to have taken an extra 3-4 weeks.
