Question:

Does that Jericho State Park bill apply to us? I know they want to increase weight/width requirements but I'm not sure what to and if our 4runners would qualify.

I know I saw someone post asking us to call reps in support. I have a house up in Bath, NH and would love to be able to hit those trails in my 98.

I am going to talk with a neighbor about Jericho to hopefully get some insight on what the status is.

I also order from rock road outfitters both times. Be ready for a long wait. Both times I has to wait what seems like a very long time. Whatever time frame they gave me it seemed to have taken an extra 3-4 weeks.

Talked with Jared at Rocky Road Outfitters today and got confirmation (prior to ordering) that my parts are indeed stateside.

Went with medium...OME 2885 and 2895...didn't find any other spring numbers

After talking with Jared at Rocky Road, it didn't sound as if going for a stiffer spring was going to be necessary

I was in Colchester connecticut ,the other day and saw a built fj that was beat to hell. I was looking closer and saw a sign on the door that said Overland Experts. I looked it up , these guys have a really cool off road driving school right in east haddam. You can use your truck or theirs. They have some pretty cool "exotic" Toyotas and land rovers , range rovers, diesel hi lux . Its expensive but I want to go so bad.

I took that course through Yankee Toys and it was great learned a lot. Through the club it is discounted a lot.

I'm there. I've been stalking the area on Google maps , I can't believe I lived in Eastern ct my whole life and never knew about those trails. Doh !:doh: Now I have some motivation to get this winch wired up. I've been slacking off aka working.

HAHA !!! Dont let my wifey here you say that she drives a wrangler. I just want the winch to work , right now its just decoration and thats pretty lame. A guy at the gas station told me I should at least rub some dirt on my truck so it would look like I use it for what its meant for. It might be pretty but I actually do occasionally wheel my truck, and the guy was in a honda accord so **** him.

Lol But seriously , shit all over them , I talk tons of shit too and I'm a Toyota guy , but even totally stock on 30 inch mud kings her wrangler is a total beast . I drove through shit I would never bring my truck through. Its just a simple machine, no traction control or ABS and a 6 speed manual.plus a real lever on the transfer case. Sucks to own, fix, and live with daily but impressive off road and cool with the doors off.
