Probaby black. It would make the coil stand out more. I just dont want yellow shocks with red springs. Too Mcdonalds colored for me. I ay just keep the shock yellow and repaint the coils black. Most likley l will try the red on the coils and see how it looks and take it from there. I might not like the dark red truck with bright red shocks. Im always changing my mind last minute.

They just got delivered , early Amazon rocks. I'm thinking red coil black shock, was considering keeping yellow but the paint job on them is sorta crappy so... probably swapping at least the broken one tomorrow, hope it doesn't rain all day.

Also delivered, while out for errands, 4 new shackles for my winch kit, a handheld c.b. from eBay and a headlight reconditioning kit. Sweet !

Yea I know the m Donald color theme sucks. Its raining so I might just throw them I'm there the way they are. I want red coils, the body of the shock is hard to see and the part you can see is black already. Honestly I might try to paint the UCA in place, that thing is all sorts of visible. Stupid rain screwing up my wrench time, too bad there's no room at the Absolute electric shop to work inside anymore. Too much stuff ! I can paint there but the truck won't fit.

Looks nice. Been considering this myself. Just hope the paint last with all the effort it takes to do it.

I had to replace the shock anyway, getting as much of the old powder coat off the springs was the hardest part. The control arms I painted in place.
